Côte Blanche Productions
Welcome

Documentaries

With almost two dozen documentaries under our belt, Côte Blanche Productions knows how to make television entertaining as well as informative.  Mostly we’re fortunate to live in a fascinating place with no shortage of stories to tell.

We’ve looked at Louisiana’s unique cultures in works such as American Creole and The Chitimacha. We’ve examined particular traditions, such as folk medicine in Good For What Ails You and The Story of Cotton. Bringing a specific historical incident to life was our focus on films such as writer/director Allan Durand’s Willie Francis Must Die Again. Our trilogy of environmental films for the National Estuary Program have won awards for how they simultaneously reveled in the beauty of, and examined the threats to, Louisiana’s vast wetlands.

And of course, we’ve also hired out our services to other documentarians, such as director Jim Gabour’s feature-length performance film on the New Orleans Jazz Fest, Let the Good Times Roll; producer David Jones’ Voodoo in New Orleans; or IMAX legend Greg MacGillivray’s Top Speed and Hurricane on the Bayou.
